The cheers, the costumes, the high-fives – what a Super Saturday that was! Ready to do it all again? Next year’s date is set for Saturday 30th May 2026 and entries are OPEN!
From the Mini (ages 3–8) 1.6km dash to the Junior (9–15) 2.5km challenge, it’s your chance to take on the challenge, soak up the atmosphere and discover your superpower all over again. Whether you’re running for fun, fundraising for a cause, or chasing your personal best, the AJ Bell Junior and Mini Great Manchester Run is the perfect stage for young runners to shine.

Mini entrants (3-8 yrs) must run with a parent, each child should be entered into the event. Junior entrants (9+) do not need to be accompanied by an adult although this can be requested upon entry if required, each child should be entered into the event. 2026 Super Earlybird offer ends at 10am on Monday 26 May.

We have made the decision to introduce optional finisher tees to our Great Run events. You can choose to forgo you finisher tee shirt at the point of entry, and in lieu of this we will make a donation to the National Trust Woodlands Appeal. Find out more here.
